What is  LearnDiabetes?

LearnDiabetes is an interactive, customized multimedia platform that provides easy-to-understand education and training that can be tailored to each family’s unique needs. It offers the education and tools that children and families need across their entire journey with diabetes, from diagnosis and day-to-day management to transition out of pediatric care.

Three Pathways

Pathways are learning journeys that are made up of specific lessons to help you build knowledge in a particular area of diabetes. Each module builds upon the last as you advance further in the learning pathway.

Foundations of Diabetes

This pathway explores the basics of Type 1 diabetes management. These modules will provide you with a strong foundation that can be used as you continue through additional pathways.

Transition to Adult Care

This pathway discusses all the transitions that may occur throughout your diabetes journey from toddlerhood to adulthood.

This pathway will provide an overview of the available technologies and tools that can help manage your diabetes.


Certificate of Completion

To earn a Certificate of Completion, learners must complete all modules within a given pathway. The certificate is awarded upon finishing every lesson in that pathway, acknowledging your dedication and understanding of the topic.
